Usaha Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Siswa Mempelajari Matematika

Teach math is not easy because we find that students are also not easy in learning math. Cocroft Report recommends learning variation (1982: 132), namely:
·         the method of Exposition
·         the method of discussion
·         solving Method
·         the method of investigation
·         the basic skills and Methods of practice principles
·         Method implementation

Obstacles in the can, for example :
·         Understanding the meaning of the theory will be.
·         How to implement it.
·          The existing System.
·         Environmental conditions.
·          Learning facilities.

The fundamental difficulty is to deal with differences in the ability of teachers of mathematics students and less developed mathematical learning technology so that students are less fond of mathematics.
Recognized math is :
·         Mathematics is an activity search patterns and relationships.
·         Math is creativity that requires imagination, intuition and invention.
·         Mathematics is a problem solving activity.
·         Math is a great tool to communicate.

Students learn math is the substance:
·         Student will learn if it gets the MOTIVATION.
·         Student  studied in its own way.
·         Student learned independently or through cooperation.
·         Student needs context and the different situations in his learning.
